Эта песня живет со мной с тех пор . как я услышала ее в исполнении Дина Рида.( мне было 10 -12 лет). Недавно я начала учить иврит с Борисом Кипнисом - это лучшее, что есть в интернете. И еще я знакома с замечательной Верой Алексеевной Мигуновой, ей в этом году исполнится 92 года. В 1941-45 году, будучи в концлагере, на территории Германии (ребенком 8 лет), учительница немецкого языка за две недели научила маленькую Веру, без карандаша и бумаги, фразам на немецком языке. Это спасло ее и не только ее от голода: ей удавалось сбегать под колючей проволокой за территорию лагеря и приходить с хлебом. Через 2 недели учительницы не стало: она была еврейкой. Как жаль, что имя ее неизвестно.
